The most convenient area to park for Open Interviews is in the West Stadium parking lots along Cannon Drive, adjacent to Ohio Stadium. Applications are not kept on file from year to year вЂ“ you must apply and interview in the year in which you plan to start. Following Open Interviews вЂ“ anyone who applied but did not interview, will have their application discarded and you will be able to apply again next year. Click the red Application link at the bottom of this page to start it вЂ“ your application will be kept on file until Open Interviews. Interviews will be conducted from 2:00p-7:00pm that evening in the Huntington Club.ДЄll interested parties must complete an employment application ahead of time for an Usher or Redcoat position. Open Interviews will be held on July 27th and 28th 2022 inside Ohio Stadium. Those with faculty appointments (even if unpaid or term appointments) are likely not eligible for hire as a Redcoat or Usher.

Those holding current full time staff employment at Ohio State are not eligible for hire as a Redcoat or Usher. Redcoats & Ushers are paid university employees. If you have previously retired from OPERS, you should check with your retirement plan before applying to become a Redcoat or Usher. Redcoats & Ushers are paid, part-time positions that participate in the OPERS retirement program. Applicants need to purchase a uniform, be available to work all home football games each season and support large stadium events such as concerts and OSU Commencement.ДЄll applicants will be required to complete a criminal background check upon offer. Applicants must be able to remain in position, which may include standing, for up to several hours at a time, communicate and be approachable with a diverse group of people, work outside in the elements, and complete various tasks at the instruction of a supervisor.
